Chinese Lunar New Year Parade 2014 - The Year of the Horse

February 08, 2014 in Photography, New York

Last Sunday was the Chinese Lunar New Year Parade. We grabbed a spot along Eldridge Street and waited for the action. Here are some of the better shots from the day. All photos were taken with the Fujifilm X100s and XPro 1.

For more, follow me on Flickr. Click on any photos to see them in lightbox mode

The costumes were amazing. Especially this guy's tiny baseballs.

I'd like to think the guy in the middle was making a sizzle noise.

He seems awfully calm for a guy with a giant dragon sneaking up behind him.

Thanks again for looking. For more, follow me on Flickr.
